CITYWIDE MARKET PRESSURE
Set shortages and surpluses across Sigil.
Add pressure to one item, an entire goods category, or an item arriving from a recorded source city. Fair catalogue prices stay untouched; the adjustment is applied after each keeper's own pricing.

How the overlay works
Pressures compound rather than add — a 50% shortage of the item inside a 50% shortage of its category is +125%, not +100% — and the result is capped at −75% and +300% overall. A source route uses the recorded direct distance to Sigil and carries e^(−(hexes − 1) ÷ 6) of its slider value, so it has faded to about a third by 12 hexes. A target matches whole words: a shortage of “apple” leaves pineapples alone.
The resulting multiplier changes shelf and haggled prices together. It never edits fair_cp, catalogue constants, store quality, honesty, crime, or the underlying inventory.
